These images reflect my relationship with the sea. Physically and unconsciously it has always been close. The wonder and power it possesses, the sounds and smells, the joy and unease it evokes. These are my interpretations of swimmers, figures sinking, floating effortlessly. Their movements are tranquil and deceptive. Their dance is playful and foreboding. Each tells their individual stories of pleasure and despair. Their tales are of laughter and longing, ships floundered and lives lost.
Our souls have sight of that immortal sea from whence we came.
